Our popular fall declutter challenge is back! Fall is a great time to get organized and declutter. There’s something about the fall that makes me want to clean out closets & get organized! How about you?
I firmly believe that when we make space, when we clear out clutter, we make room for magic to happen. Join us for daily tips and a one space a day effort to clean up our homes and lives. For me, fall is invariably the time when I start organizing and planning for the busy holiday season ahead. I’m behind on our Declutter Challenge as we spent last week moving our daughter to college across the country. You can read more about that experience and all the feelings here. But I’m catching back up and purging and organizing all the things in my spare time.
I am also taking some time off at the end of the month to reconnect with my husband. We had a summer full of “family and friend commits” which has been AWESOME after a pandemic that canceled all the things. But now, I feel like we need some quality time together. We had a week long camping trip planned for our anniversary in July but it got cut short 30 hours in, due to one of our kiddos getting sick and needing to return home. Anyone else find their summer this way – lots of fun and family and house projects but not a lot of down time?
We’re still busy shipping out our 2023 Planners and Fitness Journals and more and are so excited to get them in your hands! I can’t wait to dive into mine. One of the first things I do with my planner each year is block off time from work with post it notes until plans are firmed up – this is my only truly successful self-care practice – TRAVEL. I then fill in birthdays, other events, kids school breaks, etc. Then I start in on my goal oriented vision boards – what do I want the year to look like, feel like? What do I want to experience or do or learn?
