Celebrate Progress First!
Before focusing on what's left to do this year, acknowledge the goals you've achieved and the habits you've built. Small wins deserve recognition. -
Review Your Original Goals
Revisit the goals you set at the beginning of the year. Are they still meaningful and aligned with your priorities and current life circumstances. It's okay to adjust them. -
Measure What Matters
Look at progress whenever possible - numbers, milestones, habits completed, projects finished or even just how you are feeling or sleeping. -
Identify What's Working
Pinpoint the routines, systems, and behaviors that have helped you make progress so you can continue them. -
Be Honest About Obstacles
Consider what has slowed you down. Were there unexpected challenges, unrealistic expectations, or competing priorities? -
Adjust Without Guilt
Goals aren't set in stone. Modify timelines, strategies, or even the goals themselves if your circumstances have changed. -
Refocus on Your Top Priorities
Choose the 3–5 goals that will make the biggest impact during the remainder of the year. -
Break Goals Into Next Steps
Turn big goals into small, actionable tasks that can be completed over the next 30–90 days. -
Schedule Regular Check-Ins
Put monthly or quarterly reviews on your calendar to stay accountable and avoid drifting off course. -
Plan a Celebration Dinner for End of the Year - Mark a date on the calendar 6 months from now for a "Everything worked out/We did it" celebration dinner.
