The Importance of Routines During COVID-19

I’ve had a lot of you ask about how to maintain your morning routines or healthy habits during COVID-19 (while working from home, stressed out, homeschooling kids, etc.) My answer is this: You adjust if needed and you recommit to starting off your days however you need to, in order to feel calm and healthy. In fact I have a bit more time as we aren’t rushing off to school. Breakfast time is slower, calmer.

How has it changed with the kids being home from school? My morning routine hasn’t changed. I’m still committed to taking the time each morning for myself – for my meditation practice, to sweat, to breathe, to practice gratitude. I hope you can find the space & time for this too.
