I like to start off my day with at least 10 minutes of meditation or prayer & some gentle yoga; a large glass of water with lemon & my green sludge (aka miracle powder) & some apple cider vinegar concoction (yuck); a nutritious protein packed breakfast (almost always eggs) with a large cup of coffee; and an updated to do list of what I need to get done that day.
Personally, I haul (and I mean literally haul) my butt out of bed at 5:00am most mornings – this gives me time to meditate, do some yoga, workout, go over my to do list and drink a cup of coffee BEFORE my kiddos are up & at ’em. I know, I know, you aren’t a morning person. I’m not either. I LOVE sleep. Love it. But having a calm & self-care centered morning routine is one of the reasons I can be so productive the rest of the day. Try getting up a little earlier & establishing a morning routine for the next 30 days. You’ll be amazed.
